Georgina and Michael went to a little white chapel... and got married

Originally both from the country, Georgie and Michael wanted their day to be reminiscent of a traditional country wedding - black tie and formal, but laidback and fun.
The couple kept their civil ceremony at Trenavin Chapel short and simple. "We wanted our ceremony to be relaxed but honour the significance of becoming husband and wife," says Georgie. "We had a reading from The Velveteen Rabbit, one of our best friends wrote a poem for us, and my brother read an incredibly moving excerpt from Les Miserables in his amazing booming voice."  For the reception, hosted at Sunset Hill Farm, the newlyweds decked out the space with handmade tartan cushions, fur throws and a disco ball. "We laugh all the time with my other bridesmaids that normal bridal parties would be off having massages and manicures the day before getting married, while we were stringing together fresh flower garlands, scrubbing floors and climbing up and down ladders."
